Full Day Tour - Batalha and Alcobaça

The Foundation of Batalha, as well as its Monastery, are due to the promise kept by D. João I for the help given throughout the Aljubarrota’s Battle.
During a brief pause to your visit, enjoy and taste the Pudim da Batalha and the Bolos de Ferradura, traditional pastry.
Filled by the majestic Mosteiro de alcobaça, this town has its cultural, social and economic development directly connected to the presence of the Cistercian Order in Portugal.
