Itinerary:
Day 1 Arrival to Lisbon*
Arrival at Lisbon Airport or Cruise Terminal **. Transfer and accommodation at the hotel.
 
Day 2 Batalha and Alcobaça filled with History
Morning: Seize the day by meeting other locations in Portugal. Travel to our stunning Monastery of Batalha (World Heritage UNESCO), built to celebrate the independence of Portugal. Come and discover the many stories that this monument has to tell.
 
 
 Afternoon: The first example of Portuguese Gothic Architecture is reflected in the Monastery of Alcobaça. The construction of the Abbey was in progress in 1178, marking the Cistercian Order ́s intention of domination. In 1910, this monument was classified as a National Monument and World Heritage site by UNESCO. In 2007 he was elected as one of the 7 Wonders of Portugal.
 
Day 3 Templar & the Altar of the World – Tomar and Fatima
Morning: Tomar offers one of the most emblematic monuments of the country - the landmark of the city, the Convent of Christ. This monument that symbolizes the exaltation of the reconquisition was later classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage site,. In 1344, the convent of the Order of the Templars was transferred to the Knights Templar Castle. During the Manueline Period, this monument became the opening up of Portugal to other civilizations.


Afternoon: Welcoming pilgrims from around the world, the visit to the Museum and Sanctuary of Fatima is one of the most important milestones for the Mariano worshipers. Take a break and enjoy this experience that offers tranquility, peace of mind and serenity. Take time to recharge your batteries.
 
Day 4 Bacchus & The world's largest waves - Alcobaça and Nazaré
Morning: Wine tasting in Alcobaça ́s Wine Museum is considered one of the jewels of our National Wine Heritage. This Musuem is located in an old wine cellar that José Eduardo Raposo de Magalhaes built produce and export wine, in 1874. Alcobaça ́s Wine Museum is Portugal’s greatest wine industry heritage.
 
A typical fishing town, Nazaré is nowadays a busy summer location that has kept its traditions connected to the sea, reflected in the local handicrafts as well as in the cuisine, with its emphasis on fish and shellfish dishes. Famous surfer Garrett McNamara caught the monster wave (34 meters) during the ZON North Canyon Project in Nazaré, which earned him the World Record.

Afternoon: Return to Lisbon and accommodation at the hotel
 
Day 5 – LISBON - From the monuments in Belem to downtown Lisbon
Morning: Lisbon's most monumental and historical area is Belem. It was from here that many of the great Portuguese explorers embarked on their voyages of discovery. For short breaks there are cafes housed in attractive traditional houses with terraces and the best place for a drink and pastries is the cafe Antiga Confeitaria de Belem which has been serving delicious custard tarts since 1841. Don ́t leave without visiting great monuments like the Belem Tower and Jeronimos Monastery.

Afternoon: In the continuing pursuit of knowledge about the Iberian culture and Portuguese history, visit the National Coach Museum and the Marine Museum and make a stop at the riverside market (one of Lisbon ́s most typical and historical markets) to taste a typical Ginginha de Óbidos.
 
Day 6 SINTRA /CASCAIS - Romantic fairytale places and a Beautiful coastline
Morning: Let yourself go, on a fantastic journey through Sintra (classified by UNESCO as World Heritage and a World Cultural Landscape), seen by many as the capital of Romanticism. Throughout this journey, we cannot leave without Belem Tower and Palace of Pena
first tasting the traditional village confectioneries. After this moment of relaxation, enjoy the views on the top of the mountain, while climb up to the Moorish Castle and Palace of Pena.

Afternoon: Visit to the westernmost point of Europe - Cabo da Roca. Continue this trip until the coast of Cascais, where you it will be embraced by the beautiful beaches, Guincho, the Mouth of hell (natural cave), ending the day in the picturesque village of Cascais.
 
Day 7 – LISBON – Picturesque and Baixa Pombalina
Morning: Immerse yourself in this journey through the cultural stories and traditions of the city. Visit The Viewpoint of Grace, where you will be overwhelmed with one of the best views Lisbon has to offer. This view offers a spectacular vision of the Tagus River and the São Jorge Castle, one of the last strongholds of his time at the top of the highest hill of Lisbon.
 
Afternoon: Return to the picturesque area of Lisbonand enjoy the descent down the Avenida de Liberdade (known to be similar to the main avenue in Paris - the Champs Elysees), where you can find stores with all the trendiest fashion designers. On your journey you will pass by Restauradores Square, Rossio (two of the most emblematic squares of Lisbon) and Lisbon ́s main square – the Empire Square, bonded to the River Tagus. Take time to buy souvenirs for yourself, family or friends, in traditional Lisbon shops.
 
Dia 8 – LISBON - Royal and Contemporary Landscape
Morning: After breakfast visit Queluz ́s National Palace and Gardens. Discover our " Versailles " - which is often compared to the famous French chateau, combining in perfect harmony, the gardens and the architectural structure
Afternoon: Visit the Parque das Nações (Park of Nations) located in the area where the 1998 World Fair was held (EXPO 98). During your visit pass by the the Oceanarium. The Lisbon Oceanarium has a large collection of marine species and the 2nd largest aquarium in the world.

Dia 9 – LISBON - Royal and Contemporary Landscape
Journey home will be scheduled with timely notice of departure and transfers to Airport or Cruise Terminal **.
